"practise your xiao luo... bring it home and practise..."

haiz... this morning while in bed i started thinking about the syf performance... vsco is so inconsistent... what if during syf everybody scew up? like what if the xiao luo screw up? he refuses to bring the luo home and practise and during practice he wastes time polishing the unused luo... sometimes he can get it right... but most of the time he can't... for me, the most important thing is to be able to play correctly at least 4 or 5 times in a row, but he can't even do that... even though his part is just what, 18 bars long? what if he hits the wrong part of the luo during the syf? i'm screwed... and he's as still as a statue... the luo is supposed to be a very active instrument... and he's anything but that... he doesn't have his accents, he doesn't move, he keeps looking straight down at his luo and worse, sometimes he doesn't even hit the luo properly... sometimes i wish that there were 6 more of me... ok... make it 5... i dun like the xylophone... then i would be able to play each of the instruments correctly, nicely and consistently... now, their accents are like no accents at all... and some of them are playing correctly... but their tone production is like shit... if vsco were to get silver or below... i can assure that it will be becos of percussion...
