What's your true colour?

Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious, black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of success, black also represents power and an uncompromising demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won't kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it's clearly the color for you.

Ya I forgot to put this the last time... It says that black is my true colour, which means that I have chosen the right colour for my blog!! Haha... And I dunno why Ann Siong treats the colour black like some lousy colour liddat... I LIKE THE COLOUR BLACK, OK? I think that yellow is gay. Hah!! And brown is so uncool. Hah!! Ya, black is the best. But there's only 1 thing which I dun believe in the description... it is that my "unfaltering determination" and "natural elegance" impresses people... Oh well... Maybe they ran out of good things to say...

Maybe Ann Siong should change the colour of his blog to yellow... I DARE him to do that... Haha...

Hmm... I have yet to buy a new school bag and a new sports shoes... Hmm... I guess I'll just go to jc in my old ones... Btw, I think pple going to vjc have already submitted their subject comb. application... But I haven't heard anything from sajc leh... Dunno wad to do... Then their school website say on the first day have to bring report book and the cca record or something? Do I even have a cca record?? And also, I still dunno how to go there yet... Haha... I know roughly where it is... I've passed by the school like once... But there's no straight bus there from my house... Maybe I should stop at Wilson's house and walk there with him... Haha... Lame... And I'm not gay.

Oh well, I'll be going to 2 bbq parties today, or rather later... Haha... 1 is my primary 6 one (would you believe it?) and the other one is my sec 4 one... My primary 6 bbq starts at 3pm at east coast park and the other starts at 5pm in mandarin gardens... How convenient! Haha... But I dun think I will spend a lot of time with my primary 6 "buddies"... I didn't like the class at all... Yeah, maybe a few pple... from co and stuff... but I heard they are not coming... So what's the point of me going? Ya, that's what I said when they asked me... And my answer was "see first" and "dun expect me to be there" becos I seriously didn't want to go... Then when I heard of the class bbq at 5pm, I decided to go to both since they are so near and if all doesn't go well in the first bbq, I'll still have backup... Haha... And also, there is not a single person from my primary school who is in the same sec 4 class as me... Haha... Dunno whether that's sad or not... But I dun really bother... Dun wanna waste thinking of this kind of thing and end up being sad, despondent and whatever rubbish... Ya, you can call me emotionless, cos' that's what I am... My childhood life has taught me to be that way...

Anyway, got to leave now, I wanna go to parkway parade to look for a nice school bag and a cool pair of sports shoes...

Life is not measured by the amount of breaths you take, but by the moments which take your breath away.

I'm sure everybody has heard of this before... It's so common! But it's still very meaningful nonetheless... Actually I had every intention of blogging straight after my Italy trip (so the feeling wun be lost, mah!)... Ya so that I can say some stuff about Italy... (Hint: Pple who go overseas a lot have MANY stories to tell... Haha...) BUT!!! The mood must be there...If not, then it will be quite sian becos usually the story will be very long... Haha... I also wanted to put some really cool pictures, but I'm to lazy to do so... Heehee... Ya anyway I couldn't blog becos: my mum was at home/ my sister was at home/ both my sister and mum were at home/ I wasn't at home.

Ok, I just want to say some stuff about Italy...

First, foremost and most importantly... People in Italy smoke a lot!! As in cigarettes... They really smoke a lot... Based on my observations there, I can estimate that out of 100 Italians, 80 of them are smoking, and out of the remaining 20 pple, 19 are smokers (just that they are not smoking at that time) and the last one is a non-smoker... Soooo.... I dun know wad to say to that... Their air is damn polluted from all the cigarette smoke and non-smokers like me have to breath in all their smoke...

Note: Becos the air is so cold (4 deg - 16 deg Celsius), you will have a runny nose. So when you have a runny nose, what's the instinctive thing that you will do? Sniff. Sniff hard, in fact, becos those mucus will never stop flowing! (Yuck!!) And as you sniff, you inhale the smoke that has just been expelled by the smoker walking past you. So in the end, non-smokers (like me) will get runny noses AND cough all day long... Bloody smokers...

Anyway, another thing that I noticed is that every now and then, the sound of the ambulance siren can be heard... (like every 2-3 hours?) It's almost as if every now and then someone collapses on the street... (maybe from chronic bronchitis? or emphysema? i wouldn't be surprised... haha)

Ok, so maybe Italy doesn't sound that attractive, but it is the art there that attracts so many pple... I'm not the arty-farty sort of person so I wun go blabbing about their art... But I have to stop here becos I have all these stuff (stuff to write about) in my head and if I dun stop I could go on forever!

Leaving on a Jet Plane

All my bags are packed
I'm ready to go
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin'
This early morn
The taxi's waitin'
He's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could cry

[Chorus]
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go

There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now
They don't mean a thing

Every place I go
I think of you
Every song I sing
I sing for you
When I come back
I'll wear your wedding ring

[Chorus]

Now the time has come to leave you
One more time
Let me kiss you
Close your eyes
I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the time when I don't have to say...

[Chorus]

I'll be leaving for Italy tomorrow night and I'll be returning on 21 December... Hmm... 21 December... Not really a good day for me... Hope nothing happens to me on the flight back... Anyway I saw the ticket receipt thingy and noticed that my departure time is 0100 and arrival time is 0720... So that means the flight time is 6 hours 20 minutes? That's pretty short by the way... And if you're thinking: "It must be becos of the time difference thingy", then you're wrong, becos that was what I thought of at first. But, the thing is Italy's time is 7 hours BEFORE Singapore's time........

*thinks for a while*

Oh ok, I get it... Haha... My flight time is 13 hours 20 minutes... Ah, that's more like it... Can get to watch a lot of free movies liao... I heard they have Wallace & Gromit, The Dukes of Hazzard, 40-year-old Virgin, Transporter 2, Sky High (haha lame...) and other stuff... I'll be sure to watch all the nice and funny ones... Haha... Somemore they have so many games... I think no need to sleep liao... Haha...

One more thing, I would like to say, if anything untoward happens to me on the way there or during my trip, I will never forget all my friends, I cherish all my friendships (becos they are quite rare...). The same goes for those pple whom I know but who dun know me... I'll never forget you all...

ANYWAY, since it will be some time before the next post, I might as well blog about the previous days...

Wednesday:
Went for tjco practice (some girls there quite chio... haha...) Also dunno for wad... I din even put tjc as my first choice... Until now I still dunno why I was there... And they ask me to go again... Weird... Anyway, we played some weird song with weird time signature... At first it was like 9/8, then 12/8 (whoa, like some mariage d'amour) then some parts were 6/4... Really not used to it... Somemore my co skills are somewhat deteriorating... So long time never play anything... ANYWAY, here comes the nice part, we played jun ma ben chi!!! Lol... Happy sia... They let me play my snare drum and Daniel was playing the timpani, so it was us 2 again (good old times... I think us 2 together are like invincible la... haha) So the co played the song, and I played my snare drum... Then I realised I wasn't looking at the score at all... Haha... Also dun need, I can still remember what to play and moreover the score was quite messy... Anyway the song was played only 3 times, so it was quite short-lived la... Then the conductor said, "xiao3 jun1 gu3 hen2 hao3 ah..." Lol... Hahaha... Play cheat sia...

Thursday:
Went to the vsco camp to return the Inuyasha vcd's (dvd, actually) to Kenneth and to look around... When I got there, he hadn't arrived yet so I went to see the percussion section... As usual, they were just slacking there doing nothing (was I expecting something?) Blah blah blah, so when he came, I returned the dvd's to him and slacked around until late evening... It was only around 7pm when all the action started... Before that, ying kai and I were at 7th level looking at the members playing soccer in the parade square on 5th level... Realised someone had put goal posts there (it wasn't there the last time I saw...) So I made a mental note to bring my soccer ball and play the next day... Anyway, some uncle approached us and told us that he will be locking the shutters and gates at 7pm, so we have to get out before that time... He also said a boy was once locked in before, and he had to climb out to get out... So ying kai and I were wondering: How did that guy come out? So we walked around the school on the 2nd level to find a spot that's possible to jump down without getting injured (or dead)... Finally, we found it, and it wasn't technically the 2nd level, it was 1.5... (there are 2 flights of stairs from ground level to 2nd level, there is sort of an opening between the first and second flight of stairs...) So we sat on the edge trying to figure out a way to jump down safely... The distance between the opening and the ground was around 3 metres or so? We sat there looking down for like 20 minutes? Haha... It may sound silly but if you are there on the edge, you too wouldn't dare to jump down... Anyway, we knew in our minds that it was possible, but our hearts sort of told us otherwise... We were sitting on the edge thinking of how to jump, then suddenly, ying kai said, "wad time is it now?!!" Haha... it was a few minutes past 7pm and I was telling him, "I dun want the option of jumping down from there to be my only option". Anyhow, the exits were not locked yet, so we got out in time. Then ying kai wanted to practise jumping down... Hahaha... So we went to the same place, now on the ground floor, and he climbed up a metal box containing switches or something (it was something like 1.3 metres high?) and tried to jump down from there to "get used to it"... We figured: Since the opening was 3 metres high, and we were around 1.6 to 1.7 metres tall, if we hanged on the edge of the opening and then jumped, we would fall from a height of only 1.3 to 1.4 metres... Anyway, we jumped down from the metal box several times until ying kai said, "why not we go up now and jump down from there now la... we started it... we should just finish it..." By then the sky was already dark, but surprisingly, the gate was still open... which meant that the uncle was walking around checking to see that there was nobody left... Sure enough, as we were running to the opening, I heard the uncle shout, "EH!! Still dun get out!! Wait I lock you all in then you know ah!!!" Oh ya, jian rong was following us to the opening also... but when he heard the uncle shout, he ran back down to the ground level... Haha... Meanwhile, ying kai and I were sitting at the edge and I said something like, "We better do it now before the uncle catches us..." So I jumped down first, followed by him... Funnily enough, the impact on reaching the ground was greater than when we had practised earlier... Anyway, ying kai got sort of injured as his arm rubbed against the concrete walls when he jumped down so there were some grazes and cuts on his arm... Hahaha... After that I went home to prepare for the next day...

Friday:
I came reached school in the afternoon hoping to play some soccer but there was not enough pple so I kicked the ball around while waiting for other pple to arrive... Finally, when there was enough pple, we started playing (in the parade square)... And since wilson wasn't there, I had to take his place and play as a defender the whole time... I didn't regret it though, becos ying kai, handoko and I formed the three-man defence that put the goalkeeper out of the game... The goalkeeper was actually mao lin (becos we didn't have enough pple in our team so we just called him in to play) but we told him "you dun have to worry, you wun touch the ball..." and sure enough, he didn't even touch the ball... ANYWAY, I spent the whole time playing as a defender, blocking and tackling and other rubbish... but our team still conceded a few goals... Haha... they were smart, they scored all their goals by eluding me... Anyway, I managed to score 1 goal from a freekick near the halfway line... Next time with wilson there... our defence will be damn good liao... After that, we watched some movies... some nice movies... some perverted movies... Then we played cards... dai dee, bridge and hearts... And for the 2 times we played hearts, I won both!! Haha... I thrashed them sia... My score never went over 50 points... Hahaha... For those pple who dunno how to play hearts, then forget it... but I think the Windows software should have the game inside... Speaking of hearts, I think I'll play some now on the pc... Haha, ok...

Ciao.

P.s. Happy birthday, jing xuan!
