"Goodbye forever now... you have gone sooner than you should have... you were passed down to me from your original owner-- my teacher-- who thought i had the potential to do great things... well, he thought right... he left a mark on you-- his initials-- and the year in which he got you: '99... but no sooner than 1 year later, he passed you down to me... you accompanied me for consecutive years in the east zone schools chinese orchestra concert 2000 and 2001 (which was the reason i got you from him...) and have done me proud... you have suffered splinters and cracks all over, but still carried on... it wasn't your time yet, but you have gone prematurely... if there is anyone to blame, it should be me, for my carelessness have led to your situation now... maybe i wasn't far-sighted enough; i just couldn't anticipate what was coming... i thought it was fine for you to lie there harmlessly on the xylophone, but alas, a bump on the xylophone over the gap at the elevator has caused your untimely disappearance... maybe my reflexes were too slow, for if i had reacted faster, i could have caught you on your first bounce, or maybe your second bounce, but by your third bounce, it was too late... you were already unknowingly rolling into the deep unknowns of the elevator shaft... Goodbye forever now... I will remember you always..."

i lost my one of my drumstick today... my primary sch co teacher gave me that drumstick becos i needed a heavier and bigger drumstick for the east zone schools chinese orchestra concert... quek ling qiong personally asked me to get a bigger one so i could play louder... and so i told my teacher and he gave me his drumstick... thus i used it for that concert and also the east zone concert the following year... the stick was so well-used until the thickness became 3/4 the original thickness... but now, it's gone forever... sigh...

today something else happened... a liuqin got squashed under my junior's weight (haiz... percussion again...) well, actually this was what happened: two people were sitting down... for no reason 1 guy pushed the other... and the other lost his balance and his hands landed on the liuqin... and straight away the liuqin broke... aiya, anyway i'm sure other people will blog about this... i'm too distracted thinking of my lost drumstick... well, at least i took 1 last pic of it (with my other drumsticks...)
