If you had x-ray vision, and you can see through anything, wouldn't you see through everything and actually see nothing?

Sigh... The end of the holidays is coming and the Block Tests are starting... I'm so not prepared for them... My first paper is on Tuesday which means I have 2 more days... Whoa crazy, man... And I haven't started on some subjects... Ok, actually not some... I only started on physics... And I'm not even doing the TYS and stuff... I'm just reading through the lecture notes, memorizing the definitions... So totally gonna die... My first papers are chem and physics, and I haven't even STARTED on chem... Hoo, boy... Let's hope I can still do well... For chem at least... Sigh... Is it even possible to do well without studying? Siao ah..... And still have math.... Math math math math math math math.... This one confirm sure die... Vectors is still alien to me along with other topics... Chem... Hmm... Ionic Equilibria (although very simple to everyone else) is totally a dead-end for me... I'm just hoping that I can answer the other chem topics questions correctly... And get an A... Woo! Isn't that the dream...

Hai.... Oh well... I'm just very sian... Dun wanna study at all... Which is why I'm writing this in the first place... To waste time so that I dun have to study... Ah damn.... I already knew that for the 'A' levels, I wouldn't be working as hard as I did for 'O' levels... Not that I worked exceptionally hard for the O's... I think my feelings now are the same as in Sec 4 before the exams... Haha... I think it should be written here before, in 2005... Where I was saying it is the start of my downfall... Haha...

Oh well, back to physics...

Btw, I was just thinking... Imagine you are on top of a train moving at the speed of sound and you transmit a sound (let's say a beep) every second in the opposite direction of the train (backwards). Let's say there's a man on the tracks behind the train receiving the beeps. Wad will be the rate of beeps he receives? Put it another way: Will he still hear the beeps 1 second away from each other?

I'm thinking it should be MORE than 1 second apart... As in, the beeps are heard more than 1 second away from each other... Here's why (i think): The speed of sound is constant, 330 m/s (not impt here actually) However, the distance between the sound transmittor and the sound receiver increases every second (becos the train is moving away from the receiver) Hence

Haha, I spotted something wrong with my supposed answer... But the truth is, I dunno... Haha... And another thing: Wad if this time, the sound is not in the opposite direction of the train? Let's say the person transmit a sound forwards, with the receiver standing again on the tracks, but in front and at a distance away from the oncoming train (quite suicidal, dun you think?).

Hmm... I think I will follow up on this in later posts... Haha... Dunno when that will be... But I must get back to my physics now...
